4 photographsThe third CBIB Steering Committee meeting was held in order to present the 2nd CBIB Interim Report and the work done during the reporting period as well as the planned activities until the end of the project.
During the morning session the CBIB Team Leader gave the presentation on the Interim report and proposed/planned activities until the end of the project (establishment of Joint Management Structures, next steps in the implementation of the cross-border programmes and awareness and trainings activities).
During the afternoon session the discussions were held on the major issues related to the implementation of the cross-border programmes (e.g. setting up of the Joint Technical Secretariat, time frame for Calls for Proposals). The opportunity of having all the stakeholders from relevant institutions in the region present was used to agree on the next steps and on the coordination needed in order to better use the resources available while at the same time achieving maximum impact and delivering the envisaged activities within the given time frame.
