Cooperation a basis for integration

The CBIB project covers countries of the Western Balkans. The beneficiaries of the CBIB project are National Authorities, Joint Management Structures, Local Authorities, Regional Development Agencies, Chambers of Commerce, Universities and Research Institutions, SME Agencies, CSOs and other non profit organizations eligible to apply for funds under the IPA CBC programmes. Building the network of collaborative partnership 

The project operates from five regional offices: Belgrade, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje and Tirana covering: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro as well as Kosovo under the UNSCR 1244.

CBIB phase II officially started!

The second phase of the CBIB project has started on 24th November 2008. The project team, you had a chance to work with in the previous 29 months during the phase I, will remain the same. We have already jointly accomplished a lot and came to the very important milestone in the process: Launching of the first Calls for Proposals for all IPA CBC programmes in the Western Balkan region.

Need assessment started!

In order to assess the existing knowledge and identify support needed in the upcoming 18 months, targeted questionnaires were developed for all the relevant stakeholders in the process.

Background: The fourth and final training for potential applicants of IPA CBC programmes among Western Balkan countries was organized in Albania by CBIB Team in close cooperation with the Albanian Ministry of European Integration and Regional Council of Dibra, on 16th and 17th October 2008 in Dibra.
16. 10. 2008.
Background: The third and the last four day training for the selected JTS and antennae staff for IPA cross-border programmes on the internal borders of the Western Balkan countries was organised from 13th until 16th October in Sarajevo, in SERDA premises.
